These are just some of the names its many aficionados refer to it by… For the past fifteen years, a dedicated group, known as the Confrérie de la Coquille Saint-Jacques (the "Brotherhood of the Scallop") has been dedicated to promoting and encouraging people to enjoy the numerous assets of this shell which has been traced back over 570 million years.
Its fine flesh and nutritional qualities make it a much-appreciated delicacy.

The Carpentras strawberry is renowned both for its superb taste and its nutritional qualities.
It counts three varieties, known as Ciflorette, Gariguette and Pajaro.

Ever since Antiquity, the main stages in the making and processing of goat cheeses have not varied.
However, each producer adds their very own "special touch".
Thus, the fromage de Banon (from the region of the Alpes de Haute Provence), once it has been refined for two weeks, is soaked in alcohol distilled from fruits (eau de vie), and is then wrapped in a chestnut tree leaf.
